Major Fire Destroys Industrial Building, Disrupts Businesses at Faversham Standard Quay

A major fire broke out overnight at an industrial building on Standard Quay in Faversham, severely damaging multiple small businesses including the Pottery Room, whose studio was destroyed. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) deployed six fire engines and other resources to control the blaze, which was likely caused by an electrical fault, and no injuries were reported.
