Bryce Hoppel Wins Semifinal, Qualifies USATF 800 Final Eugene

Midland High graduate and two-time Olympian Bryce Hoppel has advanced to the final of the men’s 800-meter at the 2025 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, after winning both his first-round heat and his semifinal with times of 1:45.69 and 1:45.31, respectively. Hoppel, ranked No. 4 in the world and American record holder, is seeking his fourth consecutive national outdoor title and a spot at the World Athletics Outdoor Championships in Tokyo this September.
