Conversely, Petts Wood in South London stands out as one of the least deprived areas nationally and is the only London neighbourhood in the top 20 least deprived, noted for its high household incomes, low crime rates, and abundant green spaces. Within Essex, Mile End North, Braiswick, and Kingswood Heath in Colchester have been identified as the least deprived areas in the county, characterized by good schools and access to parks.
