Hamilton Swears In Macindoe, Māori Ward Retained

Nick (Tim) Macindoe was sworn in as mayor of Hamilton after the election and pledged to strengthen the city's financial health, support economic growth, and improve voter engagement following a 33% turnout. A binding Kirikiriroa Māori ward vote to retain the ward passed. Several new and returning councillors were elected to the council.
