No. 5 Arkansas Baseball Dominates Little Rock 10-0 in 7 Innings

The fifth-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks defeated the Little Rock Trojans 10-0 in seven innings at Baum-Walker Stadium, marking their 12th run-rule victory and fourth shutout of the season. Sophomore right-hander Tate McGuire pitched a career-long five scoreless innings, allowing just three hits, while relievers Dylan Carter and Carson Wiggins closed out the combined three-hit shutout with two additional scoreless innings. Arkansas' offense was led by Cam Kozeal’s three hits and Brent Iredale’s solo home run, which sparked a five-run second inning; the team totaled 11 hits and took advantage of five Little Rock errors. The Razorbacks' nine combined runs in the second and third innings quickly put the game out of reach, while strong defensive plays, including a key double play in the first inning, helped quell early pressure from the Trojans.
