Pakistan Women to Play World Cup at Neutral Venue

Pakistan's women's cricket team has secured qualification for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 after an unbeaten run in the Qualifiers held in Lahore, with key contributions from Fatima Sana and Sidra Amin. Despite the tournament being hosted by India, Pakistan will play its matches at a neutral venue—likely in the UAE or Sri Lanka—due to diplomatic tensions, with the final decision to be made by the ICC and BCCI as confirmed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. This arrangement mirrors the model used in the recent ICC Champions Trophy. The main tournament is scheduled from September 29 to October 26, 2025, and will feature other qualified teams including India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
