Sean 'Diddy' Combs Begins Federal Prison Term at Fort Dix New Jersey
Sean "Diddy" Combs, the American music mogul and rapper, has been transferred to the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix, New Jersey, to serve the remainder of his 50-month prison sentence for two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution, convictions under the Mann Act. Combs, who was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, was sentenced in October 2025 and is expected to remain incarcerated until May 2028, with credit for 14 months already served at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal team requested placement at Fort Dix to allow him to participate in the Residential Drug Abuse Program and to facilitate family visitation and rehabilitation efforts. President Donald Trump confirmed that Combs requested a pardon, but no decision has been made, and the White House has denied rumors of an impending pardon. At Fort Dix, Combs has access to a commissary offering various food and snack items, including sweets, as well as other amenities like tablets and walking shoes. The transfer marks a significant development in Combs' high-profile case, which has attracted substantial public and media attention.
