Alien: Earth, a new TV series debuting on FX and Hulu on August 12, 2025, expands the iconic Alien franchise by setting its story on Earth in 2120, two years before the original 1979 film. Created by Noah Hawley and executive produced by Ridley Scott, the series explores the aftermath of a deep-space research vessel crashing on Earth and features multiple alien life forms causing havoc under the control of five companies, including the infamous Weyland-Yutani.
