Molotov Cocktail Attacks Hit Three Cannabis Dispensaries

At least three Molotov cocktail attacks targeting cannabis dispensaries occurred in the Chicago area in April, including incidents on North Milwaukee Avenue, North Damen Avenue, and in west suburban Villa Park. In each attack, a suspect described as a man about 5-foot-9, weighing between 190 and 240 pounds, wearing all black with a face mask and a black fanny pack, smashed the dispensary's front window before throwing a lit Molotov cocktail inside and fleeing. The attacks happened in the early morning hours. Surveillance footage and police reports are being used to aid the investigation.
