Michael Dunlop Extends Isle of Man TT Victory Record to 33 with Supertwins Double

Michael Dunlop showcased exceptional dominance at the 2025 Isle of Man TT, securing his fourth victory by winning the second Supertwin TT race and completing a Supertwin and Supersport double. He set a new lap record for the Supertwin class at 123.056 mph, surpassing his previous record from 2018, and extended his total TT wins to 33. Dunlop led from the start in the Supertwin Race 2, overcoming a pit stop time loss to maintain a comfortable lead over Davey Todd, who finished second by over 25 seconds. Dominic Herbertson claimed a popular third place after a tight battle with Paul Jordan, who finished fourth despite setting a personal best lap. Dunlop also won the Monster Energy Supersport race earlier in the week, marking his eighth consecutive win in the class and 32nd TT victory overall, further solidifying his status as the most successful rider in TT history. The blue riband Senior TT race was anticipated to be contested by Dunlop, Todd, and Superstock TT winner Dean Harrison.
