West Mesa Educators Rising Hosts Inaugural Rivalry Softball Game with Nearly 200 Attendees

West Mesa Educators Rising organized a Rivalry Softball game between West Mesa and Atrisco Heritage, drawing nearly 200 attendees and establishing a new tradition of sportsmanship and school spirit on the west side. Tennessee softball held an open intrasquad scrimmage to evaluate players ahead of the 2026 season, highlighting standout performances from pitchers like Karlyn Pickens and freshman catcher Elsa Morrison, as well as strong hitting from McCall Sims and Saviya Morgan. Meanwhile, SaddleBrooke's softball community is gearing up for its Veterans Day Tournament on November 8, with games starting early and a special salute planned for veterans; the fall league is underway with competitive play among local teams.
