Bruce Springsteen Releases Lost Song Sunday Love Ahead Tracks II Box Set

Bruce Springsteen has released 'Sunday Love,' a previously unheard jazzy, mid-century noir-inspired track from his lost album Twilight Hours, as a preview for his upcoming box set Tracks II: The Lost Albums, set to be released on June 27. Twilight Hours was recorded around the same time as Springsteen's 2019 album Western Stars and was initially intended to be part of a double album or the same record. The album draws inspiration from 1960s pop icons Burt Bacharach, Frank Sinatra, and Andy Williams, as well as the prose of Flannery O’Connor and James M. Cain, and the film Out of the Past. Contributors to the track include E Street Band members Max Weinberg, Patti Scialfa, and Soozie Tyrell, along with collaborators Ron Aniello, Kaveh Rastegar, and Scott Tibbs. Fans and critics have praised 'Sunday Love' for its sophisticated chord structures and nostalgic sound, with some noting its potential as a cover song for contemporary artists. The box set will include seven complete unreleased albums spanning 1983 to 2018, providing fans with a deep dive into Springsteen's vault of lost recordings.
