Tesla Rolls Out Minor Updates, Raises Model S, Model X Prices

Tesla has launched updated versions of its Model S and Model X electric vehicles with a $5,000 price increase across all trims, introducing minor design changes, improved range, enhanced cabin noise insulation, and new features like dynamic ambient lighting and a front bumper camera. The Model S Long Range now offers up to 410 miles of range with redesigned 19-inch wheels, making it Tesla's longest-range model, while the Model X also sees a modest range improvement and more space in the third row. The Plaid trims feature sportier bumpers for improved high-speed stability and retain the yoke steering wheel option exclusively. Both models received new Frost Blue and Diamond Black paint options, adaptive headlights, and improved ride comfort, although there were no major powertrain changes or advanced battery upgrades like 800-volt architecture. Despite these enhancements, Tesla's flagship vehicles continue to face declining demand, with analyst skepticism about the updates reversing this trend.
