Celtic Sell Kuhn to Como, Target New Signings
Celtic have agreed to sell winger Nicolas Kuhn to Italian club Como for approximately €19 million (£16.5 million), achieving a significant profit after signing him from Rapid Vienna 18 months ago. Kuhn leaves Celtic after an impressive 2024-25 season with 21 goals and 15 assists. With proceeds from the sale, Celtic are targeting new signings including Isak Jansson from Rapid Vienna and Tyler Morton from Liverpool, and have secured Japanese defender Hayato Inamura on a four-year contract. Kieran Tierney leads this summer’s arrivals, while other additions such as Benjamin Nygren, Ross Doohan, Callum Osmand, and Inamura are seen as long-term prospects. Manager Brendan Rodgers has stressed the importance of quickly reinvesting in the squad ahead of Champions League qualifiers. In other transfer news, Burnley are nearing the signing of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.
