Trans TikTok Star Dylan Mulvaney Plans Off-Broadway Solo Show

Dylan Mulvaney, the trans TikTok star and actress, is set to bring her autobiographical solo show, The Least Problematic Woman in the World, to the Lucille Lortel Theatre off-Broadway this fall for a limited run from September 20 to November 30. The show, originally titled Faghag, premiered to acclaim at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and explores Mulvaney's journey from Catholic school upbringing to becoming a trans TikTok icon, blending humor, heart, and vulnerability. Directed by Tim Jackson, who also directed the Edinburgh production, the show features a darker, edgier comedic tone than Mulvaney's usual social media content and includes original music. This production marks Mulvaney's New York stage debut and highlights her multifaceted career as an actress, content creator, author, and activist. Jackson emphasized the importance of Mulvaney's story for broadening horizons and delivering both laughter and courage on stage. Tickets go on sale August 1, following a pre-sale starting July 30.
