Browns Officially Sign CB Nik Needham

The Cleveland Browns have officially signed veteran cornerback Nik Needham, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, as a low-risk addition to bolster their secondary ahead of the NFL Draft. Needham, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019, has played 63 games with 27 starts, recording 199 tackles, six interceptions, and 25 passes defensed during his time in Miami. His promising early career was interrupted by a torn Achilles in 2022, which limited him to just two games last season. While not expected to start, Needham provides valuable experience and versatility to a cornerback group featuring Denzel Ward, Greg Newsome II, and Martin Emerson Jr. The move comes as the Browns anticipate potential future roster changes due to key players approaching free agency.
