South Africa to face India in World Cup final
South Africa's Proteas Women reached their first-ever ICC Women's Cricket World Cup final under coach Mandla Mashimbyi after rebuilding from an opening 10-wicket loss to England into a five-match winning run that culminated in a dominant 125-run semi-final victory over England. India secured the other final spot by producing the highest successful chase in women's ODI history, with Jemimah Rodrigues scoring an unbeaten 127 to see off Australia. The final will be played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, November 2 (toss 2:30 PM IST, start 3:00 PM IST) and will be broadcast live on Star Sports in India. Despite earlier struggles against quality spin, South Africa enter the final with momentum and renewed unity under Mashimbyi's people-centred approach.
