Diddy Transferred to Fort Dix; Release May 8, 2028

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been transferred to the low-security Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey to serve the remainder of his 50-month federal sentence for transporting people for prostitution. Federal records and reporting indicate an expected release date of May 8, 2028, after credit for time served. Sources including TMZ report Combs has been assigned to work in the prison laundry; his legal team, led by attorney Teny Geragos, had requested placement at Fort Dix to access drug-treatment programs and maximize family visitation and rehabilitative services. Reporting notes Fort Dix offers better conditions than the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where friends and his camp allege he once woke with “a knife to his throat” in an apparent act of intimidation.
