Jharkhand Appoints New Deputy Commissioners

Bhajantri, a 2011-batch IAS officer, previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society. Other notable appointments include Utkarsh Gupta as DC of Latehar and Shashi Prakash Singh as DC of Jamtara. This reshuffle is part of a broader strategy to ensure effective administration during the electoral period, with a focus on maintaining peace and implementing government schemes in rural areas. Additionally, Uttar Pradesh is set to launch a 'Women Health Line' helpline on October 3 to enhance women's healthcare access in rural regions as part of the Mission Shakti initiative.
