Guilford, Maui, Sixty6ers Advance to World Series

The Guilford Little League Softball All-Stars from Connecticut have secured a berth in the Little League Softball World Series in North Carolina following a 1-0 win over Maine, highlighted by Maeve Eagleson's complete game no-hitter. Central East Maui Little League clinched the West Region championship and will advance to the Little League Intermediate 50/70 World Series after dominating opponents with a 96-9 run differential. Camden-Wyoming of Delaware remains two wins away from qualifying for the Little League Softball World Series, following a dramatic comeback victory over Toms River. In Senior League softball, Montana teams were eliminated in the West Region semifinals, while the San Diego-based Sixty6ers have earned the west's spot in the Senior League World Series. Elsewhere, Rincon Valley and Mark West Little League teams experienced mixed results in regional play. Youth baseball and softball teams nationwide continue to battle for spots in prestigious national World Series events.
