Vancouver Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Two Injured in Home Invasion

A violent home invasion in Vancouver, Washington, resulted in two deaths and two injuries. Around 6:15 p.m., a man broke into a home through a window carrying a shotgun and attacked the resident, who managed to escape to a neighbor's house but was injured. Police then found a dead woman and an injured man in a nearby home. A man matching the suspect’s description was later found dead in another residence from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Both injured individuals were hospitalized, and authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
