Milwaukee Begins $1.8B I-94 Reconstruction Impacting Miles East-West

Several major infrastructure projects and inspections are causing significant road closures and traffic diversions across the U.S. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is starting an $1.8 billion, eight-year project to widen Interstate 94 between 16th Street and 70th Street, with lane and ramp closures beginning November 3. In Texas, a portion of the Circle Trail near Lucy Park in Wichita Falls will close starting November 3 for about a month due to construction, though other trail sections remain open. Additionally, Hyderabad authorities announced road closures and traffic diversions starting October 30 for approximately nine months due to construction of an elevated corridor on NH-44, urging commuters to follow official traffic updates and use alternate routes.
