Vince Marrow Joins Louisville as Football GM

Vince Marrow, Kentucky football's longest-serving assistant and a key architect of its recruiting success, is leaving after 12 years to become Louisville's Executive Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting—a role also referred to as general manager. In this newly expanded position, Marrow will oversee roster management, recruiting, the transfer portal, and NIL efforts, marking the first time Louisville has appointed someone to such a comprehensive role. Marrow's departure is significant due to his deep Ohio recruiting ties and major impact at Kentucky, but both he and Kentucky leadership expressed mutual appreciation and confidence in the program's future. His decision was influenced by his longstanding friendship with Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm. Marrow aims to help Louisville compete for a national championship.
