His romantic partner, a transgender individual transitioning from male to female, has been cooperative and unaware of the attack, though some have speculated a connection due to Kirk's vocal anti-trans views. Authorities executed a search warrant at Robinson’s family home, uncovering ammunition engraved with anti-fascist messages and internet memes. Governor Cox emphasized that he remains impartial and would equally condemn radicalization from any political side.
