Krispy Kreme plans Minnesota return with Fridley store opening November 12

Krispy Kreme is making a much-anticipated return to Minnesota with a new store opening in Fridley on November 12, marking the first location in the state since 2008. The 12,000-square-foot facility will include a doughnut factory producing items for both the store and select retailers across Minnesota, though the specific retailers have not been disclosed. The Fridley location will feature a dine-in area, drive-thru, and options for pickup or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app. To celebrate the grand opening, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 120 guests "celebration tickets" redeemable for a dozen free Original Glazed doughnuts each month for a year. CEO Josh Charlesworth emphasized the company's excitement to serve Minnesotans again after nearly two decades of fan demand, highlighting the strategic location to reach customers statewide. The store's hours will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
