Popstar Chappell Roan has announced the release of her highly anticipated single "The Subway," set for July 31, 2025, at 8 PM EST. The song, which she first debuted live at the Governor's Ball in 2024 while dressed as the Statue of Liberty, has quickly become a fan favorite, with widespread excitement on social media and comparisons to other major artists. Alongside the release, Roan revealed a series of intimate pop-up concerts titled "Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things," with shows planned in New York City, Kansas City, and Pasadena starting in September 2025, accessible via Fair AXS pre-registration only. Promotional efforts include a New York City ad campaign teasing the single, as well as a music video shoot featuring Roan with dramatic long hair and scenes in New York.
