Several new and notable hotel developments and experiences are enhancing the American hospitality landscape in 2025. In Salina, New York, a new 92-room Holiday Inn Express is proposed, featuring four floors with parking on the ground level and rooms above, aiming to revitalize a parcel previously occupied by a closed restaurant. Near Joshua Tree National Park in California, two design-forward independent hotels have opened: Reset Hotel, a 65-room boutique property made from repurposed shipping containers emphasizing nature and wellness, and Hotel Wren, a restored 1940s lodge offering a vintage experience. In New York's Hudson Valley, Wildflower Farms, named the state's top resort, combines rustic luxury with farm-to-table dining and wellness amenities across 140 scenic acres, offering guests a curated nature-immersive experience. Further northeast, New Hampshire's Omni Mount Washington Resort continues to attract visitors with its historic legacy and diverse ecotourism activities, including a Full Moon Dinner Series, horseback riding, rock climbing, and a thrilling canopy zip line tour, all set against the stunning White Mountains backdrop.
