Flacco Limited, 50-50 for Bears Game

Joe Flacco, managing an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder, was a limited participant at Thursday’s Bengals practice after sitting out Wednesday, and coach Zac Taylor called him 50-50 for Sunday’s game against the Bears. The team plans to evaluate him again in Friday’s session and the next injury report before making a game-day decision. Teammate Ja’Marr Chase said Flacco “looked the same” in practice, and Flacco briefly left last Sunday’s game vs. the Jets but returned. If Flacco cannot play, Jake Browning is expected to be the likely starter. The Bengals (3-5) need wins to stay in the playoff race with Joe Burrow still sidelined, and the week's report lists other Bengals limited or out, including Trey Hendrickson, Dalton Risner, Logan Wilson and Marco Wilson. The Bears have been integrating new addition C.J. Gardner-Johnson while managing their own practice-day designations.
