Meanwhile, Gwinn, Michigan, prepared for its annual Gwinn Fun Daze, a family-oriented event including a 5k, parade, antique car show, live music, and a new cornhole tournament with cash prizes. Green Bay, Wisconsin, held its sixth annual Juneteenth celebration at Joannes Park, organized by the We All Rise: African American Resource Center, which featured a parade, live music, vendors, a basketball tournament, and community speeches emphasizing unity and remembrance. The Juneteenth event was marked by heartfelt moments, including a call for healing within the Black community and a festive parade led by the Milwaukee Hittaz drum line.
