Highland Council Plans Community Transport Meeting Across Region

Meanwhile, in Scotland, concerns have been raised about the accessibility of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints for disabled people, with calls for mandatory standards to ensure inclusivity as EV adoption increases. Additionally, Essex County Council has launched a public consultation on its draft transport strategy, aiming to guide transport priorities and secure funding amid local government changes, with feedback invited until September 24.
