Gabby Petito's Mom Claims Laundrie's Room Emptied Before Police Search

Gabby Petito’s mother, Nichole Schmidt, recently claimed that Brian Laundrie’s parents completely cleared out and renovated his room while he was missing and police were searching for Gabby. Schmidt revealed on the podcast 'The Squeeze' that all of Laundrie's belongings were gone and the room was entirely empty when authorities visited, which she found suspicious considering the ongoing investigation. According to Schmidt, the van used by Gabby and Laundrie was also thoroughly cleaned out, with Gabby’s belongings packed away and the mattress never recovered. An unnamed individual who visited the Laundrie home during that period reportedly told Schmidt that Laundrie’s mother was displaying concerning behavior, adding to the family's suspicions. Schmidt expressed frustration over the Laundries’ refusal to cooperate with law enforcement and their alleged role in helping Brian evade authorities before his death. The case has continued to draw attention to the behavior of Laundrie's parents and their lack of transparency during the search for Gabby.
