Jewish Billionaires List $300M Aspen Estate As Nation's Most Expensive Home
The most expensive home in the United States, Little Lake Lodge, has been listed for sale in Aspen, Colorado, with a staggering price tag of $300 million. This 74-acre alpine estate owned by Jewish billionaires Lynda and Stewart Resnick features a main residence of 18,466 square feet along with multiple guest houses, an 80-foot infinity pool, a private lake, and miles of cross-country skiing trails. The property, designed by architect Peter Dominick, blends luxury with alpine charm and is located just a mile from downtown Aspen. The Resnicks, notable for their $12.6 billion net worth and ownership of the Wonderful Company, are selling the estate due to the challenges of maintaining multiple properties. If sold at the asking price, this estate would set a new U.S. record, surpassing the $238 million paid for a Manhattan high-rise in 2019. This sale highlights the ultra-luxury real estate market’s peak, with other properties in Florida and elsewhere also reaching into the hundreds of millions.
