Google has launched the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, set to release on October 9th, distinguishing itself as the first foldable phone to achieve an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, a significant advancement in foldable durability. The device features a new gearless hinge designed to be twice as durable, a 6.4-inch brighter outer display, an 8-inch internal screen, and a large 5,015 mAh battery that supports both wired and magnetic wireless charging. This rating surpasses competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7, which holds an IP48 certification, marking Google's foldable as truly dust resistant, capable of withstanding dust particles and submersion in water.
