Dallas Police Officer, Employee Arrested for DWI, Placed on Leave
Two longtime members of the Dallas Police Department, Officer Bradley Hance and Community Outreach Representative Eunsup Kim, were arrested on the same day for driving while intoxicated. Hance, a 21-year veteran assigned to the Unmanned Air Support Unit, was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety, while Kim, with 30 years in the Office of Community Affairs, was arrested by Dallas police. Both face Class B misdemeanor DWI charges and have been placed on administrative leave as the department conducts internal investigations. The Dallas Police Department has not released further details about the circumstances of the arrests or the ongoing investigations. These incidents come amid broader efforts by the department to address impaired driving and maintain public safety. No statements have been made yet by either employee regarding the charges.
