Flock of Dimes Announces New Album, US Tour

Jenn Wasner, under her solo project Flock of Dimes, has announced her third album, The Life You Save, set for release on October 10 via Sub Pop. The album marks a shift as Wasner explores her ongoing personal struggles with addiction and co-dependency, moving from reflecting on past experiences to engaging with an unfinished internal process. She produced the album herself with additional production from Nick Sanborn, recording in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and Los Angeles, California. The lead single, “Long After Midnight,” is accompanied by an intimate music video directed by Spencer Kelly, featuring Wasner performing as movers clear the room around her. Wasner explains that the album is a testament to her love for those she cannot save and aims to offer comfort to those learning to love and live for themselves. A U.S. tour will follow, starting in November and concluding in December, with stops in cities including Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
