Ghostface Killah Releases Lead Single Ahead Supreme Clientele 2 August 22

Ghostface Killah has announced the release of Supreme Clientele 2, the long-awaited sequel to his acclaimed 2000 album Supreme Clientele, set for August 22 via Mass Appeal. The album features 22 tracks and includes guest appearances from Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, Redman, Conway The Machine, Styles P, M.O.P., and Dave Chappelle. The lead single, "Rap Kingpin," produced by Scram Jones, samples Eric B. & Rakim’s "My Melody" and Ghostface’s own "Mighty Healthy," capturing the dense, reference-rich style fans expect. Ghostface described Supreme Clientele as a "frame of mind and era in time" that cannot be duplicated but can be revisited, with some tracks dating back 16 or 17 years, emphasizing the album's blend of vintage and fresh sounds. This release follows his 2024 solo album Set the Tone (Guns & Roses) and is part of Mass Appeal’s "Legend Has It" campaign, which celebrates iconic rap acts. The sequel aims to honor the legacy of the original while solidifying Ghostface's enduring influence in hip-hop.
