Simpsons Recasts Milhouse Voice for Season 36 Finale

After 35 years of voicing Milhouse Van Houten, Pamela Hayden retired from The Simpsons in November 2024. Singer Kelly Macleod, known for her solo work and with the band Private Life, will debut as Milhouse in the season 36 finale, 'Estranger Things,' airing May 18. Macleod previously performed a song in a 2022 episode of The Simpsons. Her first appearance as Milhouse will feature only one line in a flash-forward scene showing adult versions of Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse. Hayden, who also voiced Jimbo Jones and Rod Flanders, expressed gratitude for her decades on the show. Macleod's casting marks a new era for the character of Milhouse.
