Gino D'Acampo Plans TV Return After ITV Axing
Gino D'Acampo, the celebrity chef who was removed from ITV earlier this year following allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour which he denies, is planning a television comeback. He will star in a new travel series titled 'An Italian In Malta,' set to film in September, where he explores Malta's cuisine and culture. In addition to the travelogue, D'Acampo is venturing into acting for the first time, playing an Italian-American mechanic in a series filmed in Ireland. He recently opened his first international restaurant, Luciano, in Malta, where he has found a welcoming audience and renewed superstar status. Despite the controversy and stepping back from the limelight, D'Acampo is eager to return to television and share new projects with viewers. He continues to firmly reject the misconduct allegations made against him, describing them as deeply upsetting.
