18-Year-Old Charged With Murder After Bradford Teen Stabbing

An 18-year-old, Mohammed Mehmood of Woodroyd Road, Bradford, has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old Mohammed Junaid Khan, who was fatally stabbed during a fight involving several men with bladed weapons in the West Bowling area of Bradford. The incident occurred on Loughrigg Street, where Khan died at the scene, and two other men, aged 24 and 27, were also stabbed. Mehmood faces additional charges including attempted murder, assault causing actual bodily harm, and possession of a knife in a public place, and has been remanded into custody to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court. Following the incident, eight other males were arrested on various suspicions including affray, murder, blackmail, and assisting an offender, with some bailed pending further enquiries and others released under investigation. A 17-year-old initially arrested on suspicion of blackmail has been bailed. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and related arrests.
