Motorcyclist Dies in Campervan Crash on A832 Highland Route

A 59-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a campervan on the A832 near Poolewe in Wester Ross, part of Scotland's North Coast 500 tourist route. The crash occurred around 3:10 pm on Thursday, involving a white Triumph Tiger motorcycle and a silver Ford Transit campervan, with the motorcyclist pronounced dead at the scene. The campervan driver and passenger were uninjured. Police Scotland is continuing investigations and has appealed for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward to assist in understanding the full circumstances of the crash. The road was reopened later that evening, and police expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Sergeant Ewan Calder thanked the public for their patience during the inquiry.
