Search for Missing 10-Year-Old in Jersey City Continues

Authorities in Jersey City are searching for 10-year-old Divine Anyanwu, last seen on June 5 at Newport Centre Mall walking with an unidentified man toward Newport Parkway around 7:42 p.m. Surveillance footage of the incident has been released as police work to identify the man and determine his connection to Divine. She is described as a Black female, 5'4" tall, approximately 180 pounds, with short black hair, wearing a neon orange headband, white tank top, tie-dye shorts, and black-and-white sneakers. Divine is known to frequent areas in Jersey City and the Bronx, and her 11th birthday is on June 17. Police urge anyone with information to contact the Jersey City Police Department or the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit. The search continues as the community widely shares information on social media.
