Gleeson Releases 'Kentucky Telephone' as Lead Single from Upcoming EP

Season 2 of 'The Last of Us' introduces the Seraphites, a strict religious cult founded by a prophetic woman who saw the Cordyceps infection as divine retribution and inspired her followers to reject technology and modern comforts. Their rigid beliefs enforce arranged marriages and control over members' identities, leading to the escape of Lev and Yara after Lev declared his true gender. The Seraphites communicate through whistles instead of radios and have been locked in a brutal conflict with the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) for control of Seattle. The WLF, also known as the Wolves, rose as an armed resistance against FEDRA's oppressive rule, eventually seizing power in Seattle after driving FEDRA out. Both groups are depicted as harsh and uncompromising, with Ellie caught between them as she seeks vengeance for Joel's death. The series stays faithful to the video game's portrayal of these factions and their motivations.
