Multiple Fall Festivals Highlight Waterfowl, Kites, Fishing Across US

Several family-friendly outdoor festivals are taking place in September 2025 across different U.S. locations, offering a variety of activities celebrating nature, wildlife, and community engagement. The 77th annual Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival in Michigan highlights waterfowl hunting, wetland conservation, and includes contests like the Lake Erie Championship Layout Shoot and a duck hunters tournament. Ocean City, Maryland, will host The Kite Loft’s 47th annual Sunfest Kite Festival, featuring uniquely shaped kites and special candy drops for children along the historic boardwalk. Meanwhile, the Wind & Sea Festival in Port Monmouth, New Jersey, offers coastal activities such as fishing, crabbing, kite flying, and sandcastle building, along with tours of the historic Seabrook-Wilson House, known as the Spy House.
