Crystal Palace Midfielder David Ozoh Returns To Derby On Season-Long Loan

Derby County is set to re-sign Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh on loan for the 2025/26 Championship season after an injury-hit but promising loan spell last season. The 20-year-old, who became Crystal Palace’s youngest-ever Premier League player in January 2023, made 10 league appearances for Derby despite a thigh injury sidelining him in February. Derby manager John Eustace, who took charge in February 2025, values Ozoh's qualities and is eager to bolster his squad, having already made six summer signings. Ozoh expressed excitement about returning to Derby, feeling he has 'unfinished business' after his previous stint. The Rams, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, hope Ozoh's return will help improve their position in the Championship.
