CAF Confirms Dates Venues for 2026 Africa World Cup Playoffs in Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in conjunction with host Morocco, has confirmed the dates, venues, and schedule for the African Qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Inter-Continental Playoff tournament, set to take place from November 13 to 16, 2025, in Rabat. The mini-tournament will feature four African teams—Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon, and the Democratic Republic of Congo—who finished second in their qualification groups, competing for the continent's tenth and final World Cup slot. The semi-final matches will be held at El Barid Stadium and Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, with Nigeria facing Gabon in the opening fixture and Cameroon playing DR Congo later the same day. A draw on October 30, 2025, will determine which semi-final fixture is assigned to each venue. The final will take place on November 16 at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium, with the winner advancing to the FIFA Inter-Continental Playoff in March 2026. This tournament represents the last opportunity for these teams to qualify for the expanded 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
