NASCAR Championships Set for Phoenix Raceway
The 2025 NASCAR season concludes this weekend at Phoenix Raceway, where the Truck, Xfinity and Cup Series each will decide championships in four-driver, winner-take-all finales on the 1-mile oval. The Truck Championship 4 — Corey Heim (11 wins), Tyler Ankrum, Ty Majeski (defending champion) and Kaden Honeycutt — race Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1. The Xfinity 200-lap title decider Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET features Connor Zilisch (10 wins), Justin Allgaier, Jesse Love and Carson Kvapil. The Cup Championship Sunday (about 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock) matches Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron and Kyle Larson against Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe; Hamlin, Briscoe and Byron are seeking their first Cup titles while Larson is chasing a second, with the trio advancing via third-round wins and Larson advancing on points. Longtime Truck Series driver Matt Crafton will run his final full-time race in the No. 88 ThorSport Ford at Phoenix. Separately, Indianapolis Motor Speedway opened public ticket sales for the Indianapolis 500 and related events, with lowest remaining prices through Jan. 5, 2026 and free general-admission for children 15 and under with an adult GA ticket.
