F1 Movie Soundtrack Features Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Burna Boy, Releases June 27
The highly anticipated F1 movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem, will be accompanied by a star-studded soundtrack produced by Atlantic Records and Grammy-winner Kevin Weaver. Featuring 17 original tracks, the album includes contributions from global artists such as Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Burna Boy, ROSÉ, RAYE, Tate McRae, Chris Stapleton, and more, with Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Darkoo, Obongjayar, and Mr Eazi representing a strong African presence. The soundtrack aims to capture the energy and excitement of Formula 1, with weekly single releases leading up to the film and album’s simultaneous debut on June 27, 2025. The lead single, 'Lose My Mind' by Don Toliver and Doja Cat, sets the tone for a diverse musical experience that blends pop, Afrobeat, country, and electronica. Filmed during actual F1 race weekends, the movie features cameo appearances by real Formula 1 drivers and seeks to authentically portray the sport, with Lewis Hamilton serving as executive producer. This collaboration between Apple Original Films, Warner Bros Pictures, and Formula 1 marks a unique fusion of cinema and global music culture.
