JPMorgan Launches 12-Week UK Fintech Accelerator

JPMorgan Chase has launched the Fintech Forward Programme, a 12-week accelerator aimed at UK fintech startups developing scalable financial services solutions. The program, run in partnership with EY, offers mentorship from JPMorgan executives, industry workshops including sessions at the Glasgow technology center, and opportunities to connect with investors and commercial partners, culminating in a sponsored trip to the Slush event in Helsinki. Eligibility requires having a live product with market traction and annual revenues under £1 million, with a focus on founders overcoming growth obstacles and serving underserved communities. This initiative reflects JPMorgan's broader commitment to supporting innovation and economic growth in the UK fintech sector amid a challenging funding environment for startups. Veronique Steiner, head of EMEA innovation economy at JPMorgan Payments, emphasized the bank’s goal to improve the payments ecosystem and support businesses facing funding and network access challenges. The program will run from September to November 2025, with applications closing in late June.
