BBC Renews The Capture for Third Season

The BBC has officially commissioned a third season of the acclaimed thriller series The Capture, which will see Holliday Grainger return as DCI Rachel Carey, alongside new cast member Killian Scott. The story picks up twelve months after Carey revealed the UK intelligence service's video manipulation program, known as Correction, to the public. As acting head of SO15, Carey is determined to regain public trust in surveillance technologies through Operation Veritas, but a brutal act of terror thrusts her into a deeper geopolitical crisis involving the British establishment and security services. The series continues to explore themes of truth and deception in a world rife with deepfakes, raising questions about trust in media. Ben Chanan, the show's creator, promises that the new season will place Carey at the center of a major conspiracy, heightening the tension and stakes. The third season is set to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with filming already underway in South East England.
