Eric Dier Joins Monaco from Bayern Munich on Three-Year Deal
Eric Dier, the 31-year-old English defender, will join Ligue 1 club AS Monaco on a three-year contract starting July 1, 2025, after his contract with Bayern Munich expires. Dier joined Bayern Munich in January 2024, made 27 appearances, scored three goals, and helped the team win the Bundesliga title, his first major trophy. Prior to Bayern, Dier spent ten seasons at Tottenham Hotspur, making 365 appearances and playing a key role in their run to the 2019 Champions League final. Internationally, he has earned 49 caps for England, participating in Euro 2016 and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Dier expressed enthusiasm about joining Monaco, praising the club's efforts in securing his signing and looking forward to contributing to their Champions League campaign under manager Adi Hutter. His transfer is seen as a significant addition to Monaco's squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
